Re-launch of Managing Risk in Play Provision

29 October 2013

Re-launch of the Managing risk in play provision is to be held at the House of Commons next week on Tuesday 29 October from 12.15pm until 3pm. In attendance will be colleagues in Government and Parliament, key leaders from the voluntary and statutory sectors working with children and young people, and representatives from local government and the private sector.  Judith Hackitt, Chair of HSE and Tim Gill, one of the UK's leading thinkers on childhood, will be speaking at the event.

This event will celebrate the work of the Play Safety Forum and Play England, informed by the play sector, to raise awareness and improve good practice in supporting children and young people to experience risk and challenge in their play and throughout childhood. It will also provide an opportunity to look to the future and renew the commitment to putting play at the forefront of the political agenda.
