Bespoke Playwork Training in Suffolk County

Playwork Partnerships are currently delivering Playwork Training to the children's workforce in Suffolk.  Karen Benjamin, along with experienced trainers Ali Wood and Sue Smith, are offering 4 training days: Playwork and the EYFS, implementing the Playwork Principles, Creating Play Spaces and Playing Up! (Working with older children). Designed to compliment each other, each session is based on play and playwork theory, brought to life creatively - building model play spaces…. using Right Foot Boots to consider appropriate interventions (how to avoid putting your foot in it!), playing with Loose Parts and holding a mirror up to our own impact on children's play.

Umbrella Activity

Participants receive a SkillsActive and University of Gloucester endorsed certificate - those who attend all 4 sessions will each receive a free playwork book.

The training, commissioned by Suffolk County Council as CPD for experienced practitioners, aims to refresh, enthuse and further develop the skills and knowledge of those supporting children's play in the County.
